I just wanted to recommend the following book- it is a tremendously good read...
"War Talk" by Arundhati Roy- it is a collection of very powerful essays that deal with the so-called war against terror, nuclear power, Muslims massacered in India etc.
Roy won the Booker Prize for her novel "The God of Small Things"- also a good read.
For those who do check the essay collection out or the novel- enjoy!
