Musharraf cant even provider relief for his own people, where makes him think he's a man who play the "game" internationally?
This is ofcourse assuming that Mush isnt taking his orders from Uncle Sam, which he most certainly is. History shows us over and over again that corrupt third world elites care little for their nation and people, and given the way the Israelis treat their allies....Mush will be out of the "game" long before he even steps in the arena. Thats what usually happens to dictators and complient client regimes.

Pervez understands something that previous governing bodies in Pakistan have failed to see through their anti-zionist fog. In order to WIN the game, you have to first get INTO the game. International brinksmanship is nothing a poker game for old fat white guys. Musharraf wants to be dealt it, lets see how he plays his first hand.

Common sense and politics dont usually go together. Lack of Arab support for Kashmir due to secular cold war politics was a mistake, as is Pakistan's unelected dictator bending over backwards due to pressure from Uncle Sam to recognize Israel. Anybody with hlaf a brain knows that this isnt about Palestine but about Pakistan's corrupt leadership trying to throw a monkey wrench into the Indian-Israel partnership. Its a move the Israelis understand this all too well, and will expolit as they have no real friends.
Your other statements are patently false and extremely generalized as if the Arab world is one monolithic glob, with rich arabs all over. You've also demonstrated some remarkable ignorance with statements about the Prophet's(saw) dealing with the Jews as well Arab-Israeli conflict. Please read a history book.
We can have other disagreements with fellow Muslim from the Arab world and elsewhere, and we can work to iron them out instead of running to our enenies who make no secret their hatred of all Muslims, Arab and otherwise. To deny this and history would in itself be an act of unparallaled stupidity, the sort which is a hallmark amongst the elites of both the Arab world and Pakistan.

its not u scratch my back I scratch yours. Its called "common sense". If they are good for nothing, then why should Pakistan be the only one who is hardcore?
Most Arab countries who are filthy rich have never supported poor Muslim countries, then why should they?

There are several inaccuracies in your post.
1) Most Arab countries do NOT have relations with Israel, 4 do, and 19 dont. The math speaks for itself.
2) The Prophet(saw) made an alliance with the Jews who attached themselves to the nascent Muslim community in a covenent, which they subsiquently broke. Israel's behavior of international terrorism, state sponsored genocide and numerous and continuing violation of international law does not in any way warrant recognition.

As far as lack of Arab support for Pakistan, this is a shame on them, and a result of petty cold war politics, not on Pakistan for taking a principled stand on Palestine. Support for a just cause is not predicated on the "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" approach. The fact remains that the vast majority of the Pakistani public is opposed to this, and righly so...they understand that Israel is a friend to no one. At this stage, those who continue to dismiss and ignore history are only fooling themselves.

Dr - Its good that Pakistanis has stood along Palestinians. But how many times Palestinian leaders have stood along Pakistan on Kashmir issue? Yassir Arafat, alwyas on india's side and their ways have not changed much. Most of the Arab countries have relations with Isreal, so why should Pakistan not have relations with Isreal? I mean its good to stand along side Muslims, but if those Muslims don't value this, then Pakistan have to make decisions for their nation as well. Prophet (PBUH) made agreements with Jews because he wanted peace with them, not that they were at peace with him. Islam always teaches us to use talks before we go to war and stuff. So if someone is negotiating, that does not mean they have bent down on thier knees. I think most Arabs have bent down on their Knees in front of their "white gods" (Americans). Point is we (Pakistanis) should make agreements with them because Palestinians don't give a rip about Pakistan and Pakistanis.

The Prophet(saw) kept relations with Jews who were at peace with the Muslims. Israel's record of terrorism and unwillingness to change it expansionist agenda demands a stand, not appeasement on his knees as Musharraf has done.
Thankfully the majority of the Pakistani public does not agree with the dictator-in-chief.
