Sorry guys..I had a question and didn't not where to post it and this topic seemed appropriate since it's naseeb/site-related.

Did something change with the site? I was gone for a couple of days and it seems different....for example there are ads now that show up in each journal...and other strange changes. Is it just me?

Ok, here is a more objective analysis... Numbers speak alound!!

I made a search query that would filer everyone in, execept those older than 79 years old (sorry that was a naseeb.com selection restriction, not me). Here is what I got:

* Total number of members is 194,635
* 123,179 of them are male (63.3%) and 71,457 are females (36.7%)
* nearly 40% lives in the US and Canada and the rest, 60%, reside elesewhere (this is weird huh?)

so if the naseeb ticker shows 267,900 registered members then it might not be a lie considering those who are deactivating thier profiles and hence didn't show up in my search result, and those above 79 years old :)

But that doesn't change my opinion regarding naseeb.com....The way they made the ticker to function, as mohamed said, is ridiculious.

yes mohamed.. I noticed that... I have never spotted more than 600 users or so online at a given time...

the new look, to say the least, is disgusting... but soon we will have another place for msulims.. muslimspace.com is comming up.. still in the beta phase though.. and FREE..
