Neal N Nikki

Direction: Arjun Sablok
Starring: Uday Chopra, Tanisha
Music Dir: Salim-Sulaiman
Too western, brood, weird, wacky but still vivacious, peppy and enthralling... it's a world of Yash Raj's candy floss entertainer once again. The moral ambiguity of the pop generation clubbed with megalomaniac ambience chills out as the latest offering from this most successful banner in 'Neal 'N' Nikki'
Teenyboppers have funny joyride with this entertainer and producers can expect promising returns. The film delivers the needful to the urbane audience particularly and multiplexes will definitely benefit from its release.
The disappointing Diwali releases followed by series of flops might have disappointed many but this will bring cheers to them. In the end, audiences will find this hot "n" happening film to be sweet "n" s-e-x-y.

but i do agree about veer-zaara...eventhough the whole sindoor part at the end really made my skin crawl, they did make some sort of an attempt to portray Muslims/Pakistanis more fairly than they have in the past...
another movie to watch which had a similar theme...was khamosh paani-"silent waters"...its an independent movie starring kiron kher and made by a pakistani girl...sabiha sumar...the movie is amazing...you can get it at blockbuster...
and yeah veer zaara def had its biases...my dad called it "propaganda" lekin I like to forget the whole end part where he puts sindoor on her...and if you minus that...it was a beautiful movie...i mean they did show how the Muslim family took such good care of their sikh maid and in that scene right before the maid dies and talks about her life...it was so touching...i think i cried...lol...
what about Food Network TV Celebrities...That Tyler Florene is cute and to top it all he cooks and WELL!
2. I didn't like Veer Zaara either.. stupid an dtypical Muslim girls falls for another faith... never does a hindu or sikh girl fall for a Muslim in a Hindi movie... geez.. I wonder why, even though it happens all the time...
and i happen to like uday...he was funny in dhoom...
It was kind of gross *: Other than the songs, the movie has nothing to offer.
