Could a few of you please visit my JE and add a comment and/or give it a rating? It shouldn't be this important, but somehow I'm consumed by this experiment. Thanks!

Hmm...no, we need something more succinct. Two words, preferably. It's on the tip of my tongue!

Update: I just got off the phone with someone my mother insisted I talk with. We need to invent a word for the opposite of a 'near miss'. Someone with no sense of humour, no personality, and nothing to say for himself. Someone who doesn't stand a chance in hell. What's the word, what's the word...

I was forced into seeing it when I went out with a group of friends recently. Cameron Diaz's character is just such a mess, it's ridiculous. The particular scene I'm referring to is when the younger sister (Diaz) seduces the elder sister's boyfriend to get revenge for some petty little argument they had. Both the younger sister and the boyfriend were trying to justify what they did. Unbelievable!

Very true. Have any of you seen 'In her Shoes'? It's amazing what some people will try to explain away.

Sonia, most of us recognize when we are being horrible. It is the desire to rationalize our behavior that must be controlled.

Thanks Sabila. You are too generous.

But Canada is my 'home and native land'! :( I wish I could move to NY actually. I love Manhattan. Maybe one day! Are you free tonight?

Soniaaaaa! I miss you too! Why must you live in Canada? Move to the tri-state area and we'd have a blast.

Hi everyone! I've been missing from Naseeb for ages (i.e. a week). John, I think we all have the potential to be horrible people. Being able to recognize when you've been not-so-nice is a positive sign :)

John, I wasn't being sarcastic. You're a nice guy. I think most of everyone here is nice.

Oh I dont refute your assertion Ramsey. But it got me thinking if I was "telling myself" it went a certain way or it actually went a completely different way. That is what I came up with after some introspection.
