Need a Downtown Salon/Spa recommendation

I used to live in downtown Chicago. I moved out of state about two and a half years ago. I'll be visiting soon and am looking for recommendations for any new downtown salons or spas. If you have a favorite place, what services do you recommend? I am not looking for hair or nail services. Just something relaxing.

Has anyone tried Bliss Chicago at the W Hotel - Lakeshore?

must try the chocalate body treatments at cleise brazilian day spa in lincoln park......if you're getting ready for the summer, i've heard they do an amazing wax treatment....

I used to get my hair cut at 900 N. Mich by a woman named Pritanka or something like that. She was very interesting and a very good stylist.

Jamilaz - i agree about the checkout girls.
but they do a great job with my hair, and my hairstylist is great! so i'm happy there!

if you want something not right downtown, there is a place called salon1800, check them out they have a website, they have two locations, old town and lincoln park.

I've been there quite often, but nothing has been spectacular. I can't stand the checkout girls.

mario tricocci's downtown in bloomingdale's building is great!!!!
they have spa treatments!
