Iam an international student in New Jersey...and I've had terrible toothache for the last 2 days

I had a cavity which i think might have progressed into a root canal..I wnt to my school and asked about my school insurance and they were extremely unhelpful.Even the insurance company said that they dont cover dental.I even asked them if there was anyway I can purchase dental isurance separately..neither the school nor the insurance company gave me any answer..

The last time i had a cavity filled Iwent to a local doctor and he charged me around 200 bucks and it came off in less than 2 months ...Iam not complaining about anyone..i was scared by the whole experience.

I just wanted to know if anyone knew any dentists in the jersey city area so even if i spent the money iknow it was worth it...or any numbers as to where ican purchase Dental Insurance separately..or someone told me u can get discounts at UMDNJ or NYU..

Iam soo sorry to be bothering u guys...but i really dont know what to do? -:- I know i should grow up and handle things on my own...I've never done this before in my life..I'd be really grateful for ay suggestions...
