Need law on Hijab in the US

salaam,

Had a German lawyer contact me needing all law in the US which referes to Islamic clothing. Anyone (usually law students) want to run some westlaw searches for me? I'd do it but they are tight with the westlaw at the firm, and I don't want those searches showing up for others to veiw.

she lost for that reason no doubt, but niqab is haraam...anybody that wears it is suffering from a serius misinterpretation of Islam.

Niqab is haram? Thats news to me. As far as I know the reason she lost in Florida was because to drive is a privilege, not a right, and the state has a strong interest in being able to see the face of a person in a drivers license for identification purposes.

niqab is haraam anyway - good for florida.
