Can anybody please provide me with a good starting point on that? Something at the dumbo level e.g. Is there anything like Neural Networking for Dummies? :) I just thought it might prove useful later on for what i intend to do.

YUP. Like any other method of prediction its not foolproof. U can find an introduction of neural networks at
www.cs.stir.ac.uk

any normal person wwould also be baffled by the ur capacity for falling in love with a concept rather than a person.

dont know much about that other than the fact that they tried it at the US defence and it failed. so dont be betting ur horses on that.
