Dear brothers and sisters in Islam. I have read bits and peices of Al Hajj Malik Al Shabazz autobiography. Most of my education on "Malcolm X" has come from the movie "X" by spike lee, my African American history lessons at Tufts University and by my father who was a member of the Nation of Islam. Of course, each source offers information about this political icon, however there has not been an Islamic publisher who has related Malcolm X's acheivements to authentic Hadith or from a Qur'anic understanding.

Learning about Malcolm X as it relates to Al Islam will be the truth, laid out. This is where I ask most of our brothers and sisters to learn their information and form their opinions about Malcolm X. There can be a great deal learned from him and about him, insh'allah but first we must know the deen and then we can be informed, insh'allah Personally, from this perspective, if we know the Qur'an or authentic Hadiths only then we can form arguement (for Malcolm X, his political decisions, speeches etc.) insh'allah

i have read his life through his eyes (maybe not). and ive finished.
even alex haley, is like malcom thought, hes typical white american of those times.
no one could check his authenticity, so he made out he was his only best white friend for his fame.

although i cannot pretend that i am not intrigued by anything malcolm, i am very hesitent about reading the F.b.i Files on any matter.
You have read his autobio and you must know how his death was not a coincidence. it was coherent planning, and then people like me are left behind to look like the paranoi individuals. and the fbi,cia, nypd release 'helpful, truthful, documents'.
Maybe you are right, they are good. But i have to decide on the line between arrogance (my own) and drawing the line. i choose the extreme,
they tried to kill, yvonne ridley, they killed che.
they jailed nelson, they befriended saddam,they embraced hitler (british monarchy), and then when it suits us we choose to accept 'their' perspectives. lol
im way beyond reach on this matter, but if you could show me when any of these organisations have done anything for the moral, or ethic il be enlightened.

hmm if u give me ure email address i can email you this talk on the radio with the brilliant amy goodman, and this professor from the university of columbia ( i think ). he got the chance to see some of the chapters which were taken out, he had about 15 mins to glance through them, and what he noticed wasnt surprising to him. those chapters focused on black solidarity, globally, something no one wanted. they talked about this ideas, his new outsights.
if i remember right, the book wont be out " for a few years " according to the talk show. but its worth listening to, about an hour long.
