New, Good, Halal Restaurant in the East Village
I had dinner at a great, cheap and HALAL Restaurant.
Its called Zaika Bar and Restaurant. Decor is great (TAJ Mahal motif and food is very good and also cheap. Its fairly new so am sure they would appreciate the business.
Appetizers: $1 (Samosa)-$8.00 (lamb Chopped)
Entrees $5.50 TO 10.00
Desserts: $2-3 (rasmali, baklava etc.)
Its also a lounge at night time with Hookah and drinks. (for those who do drink) Really cool ambiance, alot like Horus (music is international). Address below.
