New Member--UMKC Grad Convert in Ann Arbor, Mi
Assalaam 'alaykum, UMKC Grads. Most of you have probably not met me before as I started practicing Islam only a few months before I left K.C. to move to Michigan to begin my Ph.D. studies in literature at the University of Michigan. I graduated in 2002 and took a few semesters of graduate courses and worked at the Writing Center for six months last year. I've been in Ann Arbor now for about a year. Fatimeh invited me to join this village. I hope everyone is finding their post-graduate life to be rewarding and successful. I'm looking forward to meeting some of you inshallah.
