he he he.i luv asi el helani, forsat omor is such a great song,u just want2 cry listenin2it.n yes, nelly maqdesi is pretty good,i like 3omar n rafi2 theyre quite good. wadee3 murad has some really nice songs,i love saket n 7ilwe el donye. fadl is ofcours a classic.i was listenin2some of asalas new songs,pretty good,altho i dont like these khaleeji songs shes bin doin... n yes, fares karam is really great, u do instinctively just start dancin when u hear his songs,even if ure sitting:)

Asala has a new album, 3aadi, which sounds pretty good. I also love Nelly Maqdesi. She rocks. Her voice has that old school cutting edge sound, yet she kicks out good sounding Arab music with lots of tablah! www.musicoflebanon.com & www.musicoflebanon.com

Who do you think is the top male Arab singer? I'm not so sure I can answer that one, but one of my all time favorite songs by a guy is Habiby Ya 3omri by Amir Diab. It's a hearbreak song...check it out: www.musicoflebanon.com

I love Dabkeh, try anthing for Alan mer3eb( howarah king) or 3asi 7elani, and on top of them all, I love Fadel Shaker, I can't even explain it but he has the most affectionate voice. Khaled, Mami, and Samera sa3ed...etc.

Ure right, fares karam is really wow! his voice is really nice n i really like his style. he sounds like a real man n real arabic music:) really nice, just downloaded wael kfooris new stuff too, quite good. thanx 4 all ur suggestions, u guy2:) n yeah, who doesnt love dabke?

Asraf - I'm a fan of Souad Massi. Good stuff. If you like her, check out Tanya Saleh..she has a great voice and plays instruments.
