New Season
The new football season has arrived! (I can hear the cheers and a few groans!!! :P) I thought it appropriate to start a new journal where fans from all Scottish football clubs, not just Celtic and Rangers, could participate!! (I hope that is clear to a certain Warrior? :P).
From previous journals on the village, its boiled down to who's been the better team and as a Celtic supporter (ahem!) I would argue Celtic everytime but we lost the league in dramatic fashion to Rangers..."Gone in 60 Seconds" as I'm reminded by a certain Rangers fan!! Unfortunately, as much as it kills me to admit, not far from the truth!
Anyway, wonder what will happen in the new season?....who will win?....what teams will be relegated/delegated to and from the SPL? Will the Glasgow teams dominate as usual? Will it be as close knit as last season? How well will Gordon Strachan perform? He has a hard task to follow in the steps of the amazing Martin O'Neill! Will Alex McLeish lead Rangers to another League victory? What team will end up with the most silverware? How will the Scottish teams perform in Europe? Loads of questions and of course an exciting season to look forward to which will answer all :) .
Would like to say thanks to Celtic and Rangers, for making special football strips for their Muslim supporters by removing the Carling sign from their tops! The only downside is that we have to wait until late September/October, but well worth the wait! :) (Yes I will be ordering a Celtic top ;)).
Think that says enough for the season!! Well....as they say, may the best team win! (Celtic are you listening? - just couldn't resist!! lol!!).

Comments on this journal
oh and fook the gers :p
Celtic legend Larsson was sooo good as a Barca player but not only did he help Celtic next season (Champions League) but ended Wengers dream of bringing the cup to Stamford bridge before they moved to the new Emirates stadium :) :(
It wasn't all bad as Henry decided to pledge his future to Arsenal :)
Well heres to the World Cup in a few days and of course next season P:
Was great to see Rangers struggle mid season with poor tactical decisions by McLeish and of course poor performances (morale?) from players didn't help!
A string of losses lead to many fans calling for Mcleish's resignation but he persevered & had some success at the Champions League but unlucky Rangers couldn't surpass VillaReal!
The heart break continued as they managed a poor third place in the SPL after Hearts clinched second place! Not a season Rangers fan would like to remember :P
Next season should prove to be interesting as Rangers have a new manager & some pretty solid signings whilst Celtic are replacing old favourites with new faces but have a real opportunity to shine in the Champions League. Lets hope they don't disappoint!!!
P.s Was not amused by a couple of you taking the p*ss! :(
he is a has been :P
