With spring time on the horizon, you should begin to hear cowbells, John Deere tractors, and the great smell of fertilizer. Also, its a great site to watch desis toil the corn fields, at least thats how I make my living. Joking aside, welcome to White Suburbia (assuming you live in Johnson County), where people are friendly (mostly white folks), the food is great (Jack Stack; a personal favorite), and the city is inundated with Chiefs and Royal fans. The Plaza downtown is a great place to hangout and chill with friends. Once in downtown, University of Missouri - KC, is nearby. They are always hosting a desi party or show of incredible entertainment value. Visit their Union Center to gain more information (any local should be able to give you directions). KEMPER Arena is also near downtown, if you want to attend a concert or barbecue cookoff. You can always join the local CAMP chapter. CAMP is a networking organization for Muslim Professionals, aka matrimonial service for singles or the polygamists, moreso, a great place to meet new and "interesting" people. The one greatest thing about KC is that the airport is not too far away, so that you can escape for a few days to a tropical island. Anywhos, hope this helps and WELCOME to KANSAS CITY. Laterz.
