New to London

salaams,

i'm (relatively) new to london and am trying to get my bearings. i am studying at the london business school so i walk the five minutes it takes to the central mosque for juma'ah. on that grounds, i'm pretty covered.

but i'm trying to get a better feeling for what muslims do in london. are there are any folks in their 20's, early 30's who get together just to do something fun every now and then?

I think events are advertised here on naseeb. There used to be a hang out place for young muslims but I believe this has since been closed. Check out your muslim society of ur uni too or hop to the other uni societys. I aint too sure bout London. I have been living here more than 4 years and I just hand out wherever!

Hussein, try the London Halal village for a list of halal eateries in London... Tiger Dragon is a decent halal Chinese restaurant in Harrow Weald, and I've also heard good things about David Wong's in Tooting.
