check out the journal entry title UMMUL MUMENIEN in this village. It has the names of Prophet Muhammed (SAWS) female companions. I have the meanings to most of them. I will try to put them up there inshallah~

mashALlah there are so many boy's names to choose from - the prophets and sahaba and wise men mentioned in the quran. but what about female names??? the big ones are usually taken (maryam, khatija, aisha, zaynab, etc) - any other suggestions?? (with meanings please :)

thanks romk2nyy! for some reason i can view ur messages today! the boys name we have picked out inshAllah is Ismail. of course ive heard it before but when i heard it early in my pregnancy (i didnt know for sure if i was, just had a 'feeling') - it gave me a sudden rush of peace! thanks for the websites, ill check em out - i thought i had found all of 'em but maybe not!

Suggested as a masculine name, it means "Singular, alone, solidarity, unique, matchless, peerless and incomparable".

The Feminine version of FARID is FARIDA

we are expecting our first in july inshALlah :) we are pretty much set on a boy name, but still deciding on a girl name..... its hard for both of us to decide on one! so far, i do like Inayah, Aneesa, Sumaya... i wrote down Aaniyah but i dont remember what it means. Rom2nyy - we're not connected so i cant read any of your suggestions! can someone post em again?
