No more Hizb!!
Some of you may have noticed that the notorious and headline grabbing political extremist party called Hizb ut-Tahrir has or soon will be banned in the UK.
In recent years, it had already been banned in some European countries such as Germany and Denmark, and I dear say good riddance to them!
For far to long, the UK Muslim youth have been in-doctored with views that an ?Islamic State? is the only way to save them from their day-to-day issues.
Oh Really??
Have we ever put education first, second or even third on the UK Muslim agenda. Muslim students consistently perform poorly when compared with other ethnic groups in the UK at all levels.
I would been the first one to say that there is a place for Islam in a social context within the UK but a radical and extremist political party with some outlandish views on simple day-to-day topics. I say no way!
With views like you should not have car insurance, now I am no Islamic expert but I live in the real world and you cant drive around without insurance, just no bl**dy way!
Since the early 1990?s this group and others like them, have tried to skim off our young Muslim intellectuals away from UK?s higher educational institutions into radical and extremist theories. We needed these very people to engage intelligently to influence policy and practice in the UK. This can only be done with the backbone of strong education, personal ambition and with a collective sense of direction.
Radicalising our youth is not the way forward, I feel that Hizb had pushed us back from our goals and now that they are gone. We now have an opportunity to push ahead in becoming a successful and proactive community in the UK.
Come on, anyone who feels we are going to gain greater political influence and clout by not voting is not living in the real world! The example of the disruption by Islamist thugs of an election meeting run by the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) regarding the influence of the Muslim vote in marginal constituencies is only one point in case.
Another, is the battle within the UK Muslim community between the moderate mainstream and these fanatical extremists trying to hijack vital agenda?s to impose their own intolerant views on fellow British Muslims has now starting to recede at last!
With nearly two million people and only four MP?s between us, such a sad state of affairs cannot and should not be allowed to continue?

Very well put. I totally agree. Let's get back to the basics insha'allah and truly understand our role as Muslims and where we fall into place in this global community and how we can contribute positively insha'allah. May Allah (azza wa jal) reward you for voicing your opinon and making people aware.
