haha amir911. :o) so - nomar had successful surgery yesterday - i heard the surgeon who worked on him worked on magglio ordonez's herniated disc that same afternoon. man, i'm glad we didn't sign maggs in the off-season (as i was originally hoping) - burnitz isn't doing *too* bad. . .

i agree. . .neifi is doing a great job filling in for nomar. but actually, i'm not even thinking about the SS position - it's all about our first baseman right now. derrek lee is the man - 2 HRs and 6 RBIs in today's game sooo far. he's due up in the bottom of the 9th. . .let's see if he can make it 5/5! :o)

mos def. i had to drop him from my fantasy baseball team today cuz todd walker has my only DL spot. it was hard to do - *sniff sniff*. thank God neifi perez is doing decent right now. still. . .we couldn't even muster one run today. :o( back in the friendly confines tomorrow iA. . .
