Foxglove can be a whip - an carry one too - as The Parliament will get rowdy. But will you be a whip for the whole parliament? Or just a single party? In anycase......I am content. Before the final date of the elections is made, I propose that the last day to announce your candidature be made. Though I smell victory, it won't be as sweet if I win uncontested...plus I do not like the idea of a mysterious candidate get through. Candidates need to make their views clear. The views have to be presented and made known. Furthermore, I propose that the length of time a person can remain leader of the house is 1 month. After this, elections have to be held again.

Whips only exist in the UK, Australia, Canada and Ireland... Personally, I think every Parliament should have some. They act as disciplinarians, keeping the party in line. They inform MPs and peers of forthcoming parliamentary business, ensure that members attend important debates and support their party in parliamentary divisions, and act as an intermediary between the party leadership and backbenchers.
