I was really surprised (and happy) to see so many members in this village. I think that the only way people can really appreciate the country is by actually living there and experiencing it for oneself. There are far too many misconceptions about life there...
I grew up in the capital and went to Manarat Al Riyadh. I miss the school and the city immensely. Although there were things that I found frustrating (having to call a limosine to go places being one of them), the number of things I liked about life there certainly outweigh them....such as the call of the adhan during salat times, Ramadan evenings when the city would come alive after 9.30pm, the architecture, the shawarma, tash ma tash on tele...
Anyway, don't want to get too nostalgic....so I shall keep this short....salaam
