Thanks to everyone for your feedback. I understand the point of choosing a school based on what I want to do however I don't have very much choice. I don't want to go full time and so I'm looking for the best school I can go to part time. I'm also too young for the exec programs so that further reduces my choices.

yeah i would take the rankings w/ a grain of salt...i think the WSJ ranked dartmouth (tuck) as number one, and that doesnt make a lot of sense to me. i would visit both schools, goto alumni events, and see where you feel that you fit best (the 'soft factors' that momokam referred to)

Damm Yaar!!! Some recent choices just made me feel like a dummy for a sec cuz of the list in that link. hahaha. No but I've personally always stayed away from rankings, and have weighed heavily what people in the industry say. I think both MBA programs are good. I'd recommend to Rami that he look into what he wants to do and what is the most likely position he wants after the MBA, and then ask people in those positions about which program is better ... or which program sends more people into that position. The fit and all that are soft factors ... each person should decide based on personal preferences. Good luck to you Rami.

Stern is a great program. But from my own research for over a few months, and through talking to people in the finance industry, I found that Columbia carries more weight in several areas. In all, it really depends on what industry you wanna go into, cuz I bet Stern has awesome stuff in those areas. But in finance industry, I've talked to several people who picked Columbia over Wharton and Chicago. For finance, I'd look into Columbia's value investing program (it's the strategy that buffet and several other biggies have used, and I think that's the program that pulls a lot of people there).
