Ouija Board

Has anyone tried out using Ouija board? To be honest, I have done so many years back and some of the results were fascinating.

There are 2 theories behind how the oija board works (I am for the latter one)

The Spritualist Theory

Many people believe that all information is channelled from an outside sources such as spirit guides, ghosts, astral planes and manifestations of deceased relatives and friends.

The Automatistic Theory

Some people believe that all information gained from ouija board comes from within. In other words, we ourselves know the answers but they are not to our conscious level. And, that this process is created by our subconscious movements.

Anyone to share his/her thoughts and experiences?

i think it can be both. i have done it b4 and i got some nonsense answers but i do believe in it. i tried it when i was in uni but it wouldnt work in my room because i always read the 4 kuls and blew in each corner, but i would work just outside my room.

I havn't tried this one at all, but always wanted to. Instead what i have tried is 5 or 6 of us sitting on a circular table with hand in hand so ensure that no one of us has his/her hands free, and just like you mentioned nazneen, symols and traces of outside force(s) was quite obvious.

as for WSM77, i feel you. The sense of not belonging can be hard sometimes, we all will pray for you. :)

i have tried the Ouiji board and it REALLY worked and it was freaky when we asked it to give us a sign and the blinds shuttered as if someone brushed their hands through it! I really believe me and my sisters opened a doorway for the jinns that came into our house!

the "spirit" on that link answering questions was the dumbest of all the spirits....it always come up with answers such as "cannot say", "dont know", "too dark", "maybe later"...lol.....its funny

I also have not used an actual ouija board but made out of a sheet of paper. But as Styx said, it worked out almost everytime. There used to be more than 2 or 3 people placing their fore finger on to a small plastic cup or a lid and at times it moved so fast on the board/chart.

I did obeserve that mostly it moved fast giving answers of questions that at least one of us knew. Though no one was moving the cup deliberatly, that's for sure.

But at the same time, we also got some answers which none of us knew (not consciously at least)

I would say that I am out of the school of thoughts who would still rule out the role of ghosts/spirits/black magic in this and I tend to believe more that our subconscious and mind power plays a symbolic role.....

i know someone that has tried that....but i would NEVER go and open up the doorways...for potential haunting...im okay...with not having a direct connection with the spirits of the unknown world...and plus isnt that considered some sort of Si7r 'black magic'?

and i also know a person that i used to go to school with...that used to make the generic board on a paper ....but used a class cup....and apparently i was a bad spirit and was pushing with force to be released from the glass...but who knows really...and i cant remember what happend after that tho.

I have never used the actual board that you can buy from stores. I remember making my own on a sheet of paper and using a coin.

It was weird as it almost always worked. I don't know if it is the our subconscious mind guiding the movement or an "outside" source like a spirit.

I do know that in one of our houses where I used to use it a lot, we had a really scary paranormal experience. My sisters and I actually heard the strange eerie voice of the spirit. Ir was sooo frightening we left the house that very day and stayed with my uncle till we got another place, and even to this day whenever I have a dream about something evil I am almost always in that house.
