On July 2004, Madhur Bhandarkar was allegedly accused for casting couch and was filed for a big case when Preeti Jain went to court. She stated she slept with him from 1999 to 2004 as he promised her a role in a movie and marriage. On September 2005, Jain was arrested as she gave Rp 70,000 to the underworld people to have him killed.

The investigations into the alleged plot to eliminate filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar were severely hampered due to non-cooperation by main suspect Bollywood actor Preeti Jain.

anmol we do not know for sure, but they might have had to do that in the begining of their career. i have heard some really gross stuff of incidents with actresses including reena roy and madhuri and these were supposedly by an entertainment reporter.

muffi808: yea i've heard of the sleeping with directors to get parts...but i just can't imagine preeti zinta...madhuri...etc do all that...and i did here that since karan johar is gay males are required to do the same.....gross! mhavish19: yea its interesting..i wuldnt have watched it until i heard about it.

anmol bollywood is infamous for its casting couch. there are 3 ways to get a break in the industry. 1. you have a chacha or mama or someone in the industry. 2. you were born lucky and the director gives u the opportunity based on your talent. 3. you sleep with director or producer. oh and this does not apply only to women.

yea i saw it a few weeks ago...really liked it...was a different kinda movie...i donno if everything shown in the movie is what really happens or not?...i guess to some extent it does occur...but it was gross!

Anmol what 'gross' stuff u referring to. if its the callous attitude of the rich and famous. yeah it does. it happens everywhere. the movie probably exaggerated it.
