'Paheli' for the Academy Awards...

I can't believe Paheli got nominated to represent the indian film at the Oscars. I mean I love SRK but there is no way that it actually beat out Parineeta and Swades. I mean Paheli was the most bizarre movie i have seen this year. I don't know some people are all into the folk tale stuff. Anyways if Paheli wins SRK will get to recieve the award because he's the producer and he claims since he's all ready in NYC shooting for karan Johar "kabhi alvida something something something" he's going to promote the movie as best he can. I hope it wins just so i can see him at the Oscars lol.

whaaat?

Paheli is not Oscar material, in my opinion. Black was a complete rip off of the Helen Keller story, though there was superb acting. Parineeta was just amazing!!!

i read that on googlenews and was soooooooooo pissed. i cant believe they overlooked the BEST indian movie of the past few years.... BLACK. i mean u cant compare the acting in that to anything. amitabh and rani should be attending the oscars not srk.

i hope this doesnt even make the foriegn films nominee list lol
