Palastenian Elections
I have been having goos bumps since I heard andread about the results of the palastenian elections.
I guess the West will reconsider supporting democracy in our area and they will go back to support the crappy monorachy and the daddy and mammy rule.
last year and in this year the following countries have elected non-pro governments: Bolivia, Venzuala, Chile, Iran, Iraq, Palastine.
Whats ur view of the elections, the results, and ur fears?

fag. call on Israel to get the fck out of falasteen or face all out war. Declare a nation, draw lines and say that anything in those lines is either a Palestinian or an Invader,
give them an ultamatum of 10 days to get the hell out then start knocking donw those f.king walls and deporting those God damn settlers back to Poland.
Break the chains man. Refugees for 50 f.cking years? the jokes over. get off your knees and demand to be treated like a human by the world.
Coward Coward Coward.
vile traitor.
a coward, and a tool for israel. Rather than supporting Hammas he's been nothing but an impediment to building a viable nation. if Palestinian Government had stood together after January elections the world wouldn't be so hesitant to recognize the validity of Hammas.
but this little Sht has been whinning since January. damn gymp. House-sandnigger. he wants to tie us in chains so we are acceptable to the Israeli's.
lead follow or get out of the fking way. this is way too important for his pathetic ego and his self-preservation should not come before Falasteen.
god damn he's such a little coward.
"Mahmoud Abbas has told Hamas he is
prepared to act if the incoming Hamas government damages
the interests of the Palestinian people.
He warned prime minister-designate Ismail Haniya that he
would "exercise his authority" if the need arose.
A Hamas spokesman said it was wrong to assume the party's
policies would harm the Palestinians.
The Palestinian Legislative Council convenes on Monday for
a confidence vote on the Hamas-dominated cabinet.
In a letter to Mr Haniya, Mr Abbas said "I will exercise
my mandate and authority where and when they are needed to
protect the higher interests of the Palestinian people."
Mr Abbas has previously called on Hamas to recognise
Israel and respect previous commitments made by the
Palestinian Authority, which Hamas has so far refused to
do.
"Once your government assumes its responsibilities I ask
you again to...make the necessary corrections to your
programme," the Palestinian leader said in his letter.
Mr Haniya played down the prospect of a disagreement with
Mr Abbas, according to the Reuters news agency.
"We do not seek to cause a constitutional crisis," he
said.
Under current legislation, the Palestinian president is
empowered by law to fire Mr Haniya if his policies are
considered harmful to the national interest.
In January, Hamas won a landslide victory in the
Palestinian parliamentary elections, winning 76 seats out
of 132."

Our message to the Muslim and Arab nations is this: you have a responsibility to stand by your Palestinian brothers and sisters whose sacrifices are made on behalf of all of you. Our people in Palestine should not need to wait for any aid from countries that attach humiliating conditions to every dollar or euro they pay despite their historical and moral responsibility for our plight. We expect you to step in and compensate the Palestinian people for any loss of aid and we demand you lift all restrictions on civil society institutions that wish to fundraise for the Palestinian cause.
Our message to the Palestinians is this: our people are not only those who live under siege in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip but also the millions languishing in refugee camps in Lebanon, Jordan and Syria and the millions spread around the world unable to return home. We promise you that nothing in the world will deter us from pursuing our goal of liberation and return. We shall spare no effort to work with all factions and institutions in order to put our Palestinian house in order. Having won the parliamentary elections, our medium-term objective is to reform the PLO in order to revive its role as a true representative of all the Palestinian people, without exception or discrimination.
Our message to the Israelis is this: we do not fight you because you belong to a certain faith or culture. Jews have lived in the Muslim world for 13 centuries in peace and harmony; they are in our religion "the people of the book" who have a covenant from God and His Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) to be respected and protected. Our conflict with you is not religious but political. We have no problem with Jews who have not attacked us - our problem is with those who came to our land, imposed themselves on us by force, destroyed our society and banished our people.
I think Hammas is on a tight rope and they need to be very smart on how they handle their amazing (actually breath taking). If they fail to communicate, or became just stubboen with idealistic ideas instead of pragamtioc, they will have a short honey moon and all their enemies in the inside of Pali and outside will tore them.
Having said that, I don't think the palestinian elections were a statement against the US as much as it is a statement of support for Hamas. People don't really talk about it, but Hamas builds hospitals, schools, takes cares of orphans...etc. It's not as corrupted as Fatah is. I have always thought that it would be more popular than fatah, but it hasn't had a chance to show that popularity. I guess now it has.
