Paradox or Hypocrisy?
An ingredient of human nature is to have paradoxes and/or hypocrisy. It is in the eye of the beholder, I believe.
We are selective by nature regarding our actions and beliefs. The human condition also allows us to assess others not always according to our own inconsistencies (paradox/hypocrisy)
An example is a friend I know who is a sweet, good person generally speaking. She does not drink, rarely curses, I believe eats halal only, dresses conservatively and though does not pray 5x a day, is an advocate of the pillars, will whip out the Quran on occassion like many Muslims, though she/they may not act on it regularly.
She also was nice enough to say I'm not a 'devil' despite the fact that I drink and have had pre-marital sex. That I'm a good person, etc.
She also shared that she is open to pre-marital sex, given the potentially right man.
Is this a natural paradox or hypocrisy? Can we as humans comfortably admit that we have these inconsistencies? Or do we stubbornly try to justify or go into denial about this?

saha, for some reason, that "your heart is huge" sounds darker than it should ... :P
May I add that she was fine to be with a 'haraami' fellah. I forgot to add that to the JE. I apologize.
An aspect where the girl's answer to pre-marital sex was YES, MAYBE, NO in a few minutes? LMAO! :P :D
