Pasand Apni Apni : A Play to help the Quake victims and Visually Impaired Children in Pakistan
An e-mail I received,
====================
Hello Friends,
Vision and Literacy Canada has been involved in helping the Visually Impaired Children in Pakistan for the last many years.
Dr. Kashif Zoberi began this by taking suitcase loads of eye glasses to Pakistan and providing free eye exams and glasses to children in Rawalpindi area. He has been helped in this by his family and his mother Zohra Zoberi, a member of the Writers Forum.
Vision and Literacy has since established a full fledged free eye clinic in Pakistan with the help of volunteers and donors.
They planned to to arrange a fund raiser for this Clinic and have now decided to share the proceeds with the earthquake victims.
The fund raising will be in the form of a Play on December 02, 2005.
I am enclosing details and request and recommend to support this noble cause.
Thanks.
