Is this not enough to make anyone realize that today's Muslims are more and more veering towards becoming nothing but shameless, miserable, weak, and insecure hypocrites who (much less wholeheartedly believe in and spread the power of Islam but) can barely keep from fighting amongst each other?! You see it on Naseeb and you see it out in the real world...IT EXISTS AND IT'S SAD!!! Moreover, you see it right in the masjids where so-called "religious" board members are constantly fighing for control over each other and have created leftist-type parties to this affect in order to bolster support. In essence, ironically, they are fully going against the tenets of Islam rather than adhering to it by such idiotic action and childish nonsense! Allah mian is great and all-knowing.

Our ummah is so weak, it's disgusting. In the name of the almight $, people are selling their souls to the devil. I see many high ranking so-called Muslim lawyers, lobbyists, physicians, and businessmen here in the US who openly drink, eat non-halal (yup they eat pork) are married to non-Muslims, and socialize only with non-Muslims. In a nutshell, these people are ashamed to be Muslim!!! This category of individuals perfectly represents "the foam of the water on the surface of the river." As stated earlier, the worst part is, the # of such so-called Muslims is growing exponentially. God bless humanity for reaching heights of material success but should that mean that they need to lose their personal identities and sense of faith along with it???!!! Most definitely ***NOT***!!!

Reverts have the best balance of both and are more admirable in my eyes since they, in essence, shun their families and the religion they were born into in order to embrace this new faith which they obviously have great belief in in order to revert to. It takes much courage and self-assuredness to revert...you run the risk of losing dear family and friends and perhaps even getting ridiculed in the process.

I think too that reverts tend to have a more mature attitude towards life in general, whether men or women. I have much respect for reverts. The desi/Arab variety is gradually beginning to lean in the other (less desirable) direction than reverts who have chosen the right path. More and more each day, gorey in general are becoming a more and more attractive marriage option to me due to my continuing bad experiences with our own desi variety. God knows what's best for me but all I know is that I want to end up with someone who respects me, treats me nicely, and is a good guy, that's all...nothing more, nothing less.
