The post is all garbled; However, I did make it to the Grand Canyon - South Rim. What an awsome sight. No words can describe it no pictures can capture it.
Took the Bright Angel Trail down to Plateau Point. Round trip took about 8.5 hrs. 12 miles round trip. 3600 ft descent and climb back up. The last 500 ft back up were quite challenging as the 7000 ft altitude finally gets to you.
This was a milestone day hike for me. Vaqas, bring on the 5000 ft climb. I am ready.
