totally agreed with what Fi said... mine her categories are totally two different games... About white being too bright on my monochromes, that's 'coz I play with exposure a lot and set it according what the mode of the atmosphere is when I'm taking the shot... If the kid has a smirk or a smile, the exposure is a little longer, if people are sleeping or sad, the shadows will be more prominent... it's just to convey a feeling, that's all...glad u liked the photos btw

Seeding chaos, best of luck with everything, you sure will be successful as a photographer if u choose it as your profession ....keep it up aside from graphic designing and applied math, someday your work will catch the right eye for it;)

Hold it right there! laxlad....too early to compare and plus my work and seedingchaos work falls in two different categories. He's done more of outdoor shots and still objects while i've done portraits and special events photgraphy maybe a lil of still objects like the ones you see on my website BUT seedingchaos work is rare,you won't see work like that on every second photography website, that's more artistic than mine...mine is probably more flattering bcz not everyone has an eye for Art but definitely for girls....hahahah..i don't mean anyone particularly just talking in general:)

Seedingchaos.why do the B& W photos carry so much white..it seems a bit bright on those kids face.i wud love to see more skin color without the reflection.. I don't know photogrophy but just wanted to enjoy more.. tks i did enjoy the lineup. yes u do have an eye for an image. now i need to be able to compare between u & fatima and see who has done better ); Any ideas????

5-10 years? I really dont know but I can assure you that I am aiming to surmount digital techniques and create some black and white frames after learning as much as I can from Ansel Adams zone system; his work is just totally magnificent. I picked up on being a photog when a another pro told me that I had the eye for it. Back then I really didnt know what he meant aside from the obvious but slowly I am realizing that I can take this really afar. I really dont know yet if I am going to build a career out of this since it's still justa hobyy and passion (I work as a graphics designer and goto school for applied math)... so this kinda doesnt add up but hey....who knows...;)

laxlad, Under the circumstances and time period, I'm happy & confident of my work and so far the results i have produced have gotten compliments BUT i'm improving with every oppurtunity i get and if you see me producing the same results after 5 years as of today then i'm one of those lame, non-serious. go-with-the flow photographers. Only dead fish flow with the stream;)

regarding "ladies thing" don't put conditions..you be yourself and let the other person be herself...sounds like a mom talkig? yea i know:P

that may be true..black_eys..but either u r sure that u r good or u r not..had i seen the works of others..i wud like to tell them if their stuff is good too. i like the ladies first thing but hey they have to be lady like ;)

yo Wiq! I've known you for a while now and NOW is when I find this out about you.... what's up with that? Great shots btw, I think u can definitely go a lot further, specially when it comes to color. Seems like you love taking visually saturated shots and that's awesome... GO FOR IT!!! I'll b here if ya need any help... keep up the good work...
