I wish I played B-Ball, would've made for a more lucrative career! I'm not aware of a muslim B-Ball league in the area. Try asking Baqarah a.k.a Hasan. He's on my list of friends and is more involved in sporting activities. Hopefully he would know of any league. good luck!

I've heard a bit about Sarajevo, I'll have to check it out now. The Phoenix mosque (ICCP) is located just West of the I-17, South of Northern. It's on the road next to the highway (frontage rd?). The khutbah for Jum'aa starts a lil after Zuhr, 12:45 I think, and Jam'aat is held at 1:30 pm. If you're closer to the Glendale area, Jum'aa is held there at 1:45 pm. It's quite a comfortable setting.

Copper Kettle's halal (at least they claim) Pakistani food. Amoori, you should give Maharaja Palace a try, I think it betters Delhi Palace. The Maharaja Palace is in Glendale though, 55th Ave n Bell (next to Wallmart!). Enjoy!

I think the best sheesha I've had in the valley is at the Kabob Palace rest. It's a middle eastern place close to the Phoenix mosque, Soust West side of Northern and 23rd Ave. Not many students show up there, sometimes families, otherwise old middle eastern men playing cards n smokin sheesha, just like back home ;)
