Pray As If..........

"You should tell yourself before the salat that you are in a meeting with Almighty Allah. You should also think as if this is your last prayer and that death is behind you, Paradise is on your right hand side, the Hell is on your left, the Ka?bah is in front of you, and above all, Almighty Allah is looking at you."
Pray with devotion, intensity and with conviction that Allah is right there listening to every word you utter from your mouth. It is said that a muslim is closest to his Creator when s/he is in sajda. Pray for all the muslim in the world who are suffering. Don't ever underestimate the power of prayer.

"O mankind!) Call upon your Lord humbly and in secret. Lo! He loveth not aggressors.....call on Him fearing and hoping; for the Mercy of Allah is (always) near to those who do good.

Surah Al Araf 55-56

"And remember your Lord within yourself humbly and fearing and in a voice not loud in the morning and the evening and be not of the heedless ones. Surely those who are with your Lord are not too proud to serve Him, and they declare His glory and prostrate in humility before Him."

Surah Al Araf 205-206

are we allowed to recite out loud during prayer if we're alone? I think sometimes it helps me concentrate...
