as far as israel nuking iran, it is less defensable

not because i would be happy to see israel strewn over the earth like so much fecal dust.
nay! but it's an issue of imminance.

iran isn't guarenteed to nuke israel.
in fact, iran most likely won't, just as iraq wasn't gonna do anything naughty to the US.

when i think preventive war i think more of "self defence" in american law

you can't go to your neighbors house and shoot him because he's talking about coming to your house and shooting you.

but if the shows up at the door with a gun, you can shoot him through the peep hole without letting him in.

you can't punch an aggresive lookin dude on the subway, unless he makes as if to attack you first.

right now iran is an aggresive looking dude o na subway, israel is another aggresive looking dude on the same car, and israel is flashing gang signs.


if, at this point israel can justify a pre-emtive war, so can iran.

actually bro, second strike capabilities are often used to refer to off site nuclear warheads

subs and whatnot

israel has them

i suppose for Israel it makes the most sense - given this climate - not that i agree - but if Israel gets nuked - it has no second strike capability due to its size it will be obliterated .... these days seems that preventative war is just another way to keep the bully bullying-on ...

clearly defensible given the right situations.
there will be an infinite amount of argument what those situations are of course and how they where brought about.
