Pros and Cons of Naseeb
Naseeb is alarmingly addictive and disturbingly time consuming to many, at the same time a great source to enjoyment. Let?s say you are a critique. How would you defend or condemn it when you have to? What is your personal observation?

cons - highly addictive and everything that happens in life turns out to be a journal entry, so life is being revolved around naseeb =D
People cannot find their soul mates. To be honest, ?I am here to find my soul mate? is a big gimmick of Naseeb. One cannot ?find? his/her soul mate. I firmly believe that one will just come across his/her soul mate (if there is one) one day whether on Naseeb or elsewhere.
People cannot find suitable matches on Naseeb. I don?t think Naseeb is an exclusive matrimonial site and for that purpose, there are other serious web-sites such as shadi.com etc etc. Naseeb in my opinion, is a social site.
Some complain that Naseeb being a Muslim site has many unIslamic things going on. Well, Naseeb does cater to the Muslim community but is not for specifically Islamic purposes.
Some ?intellectual writers? complain that Naseeb is too shallow a site for them. I would say why not write to the general public in easy terms for a common person to understand? The idea of posting journal entries is to exchange thoughts, ideas and experiences and not to impress each other. For the professional writers, there are other many sites to display their skills.
Non members complain that there are far too many restrictions for them but then, Naseeb also has an option of paid membership. Nothing comes free of cost in the world, anyway.
For those who state that Naseeb is not affordable and for those who quote Naseeb?s advertising slogan ?Cheaper than buying a burger? I beg to differ. The cheapest value meal at McDonalds is 99 cents plus tax i.e. USD 1.08 x 30 days = USD 32.40. Quarterly membership for Naseeb is much cheaper than this. Come on now, you cannot try to save the cost of 1 burger and compare that to a monthly subscription of Naseeb. And again, there are also non paying members who have been able to build a large circle of friends. It all depends really.
I do have to say that there are 3 features here which I find irritating. These are as follows
Salam: This is ridiculous. It is an open fact that here salam means making a pass. Instead, it would be better if a fish bait is sent asking if you are ready to be hooked. LOL. Just because we are Muslims, doesn?t mean we that we have to be hypocrites by disguise.
The voice of ?You?ve got mail? is pathetic. So typical desi and more than desi, it?s too ?mawali style? out of Hindi movies. Even the icon of that man is ?tapori? LOL. Why don?t they instead have a cartoon character such as woody wood pecker. That would be cute. The same goes with ?As Saalam O Alaikum?. Such artificial Arabic accent.
Since the introduction of Villages, activity on Naseeb is curtailed a lot. It?s as if the whole community has been divided. Wouldn?t it be better to have the option of opening temporary chat rooms instead?
To sum it up, it all depends what one is looking out on Naseeb. I for one, am quite satisfied as I enjoy sharing my JEs and reading other's and have also come across many nice people on Naseeb.
