Thanks for the advice. I'm in private practice and don't really have a mentor who is going to be looking it over. I could ask one of my attendings from residency who does alot of research. I have few journals in mind and had one return my email and say they are interested in looking at my manuscript so that's encouraging. Good luck with your article!

well u have to know your journals and the level of prestige for them and which is most appropriate level to submit to. i had an article submitted to the most prestigious journal in allergy and it ws returned within 3 days; i then submitted it to the second most prestigious journal in allergy and they've been pondering if for the last month which is a good sign. the person who edits the article/ your mentor should be able to guide you better. or anyone in the institution that has published. good luck
