Has anyone heard this CD as yet? What do you think of it?

Nanoo: You are so right. I absolutely love the CDs...they both are really good.

These days I have been listening to PVD live set in Peru back in Oct. 2005. I really want to get some live stuff...

Mazhar,

BTW, you were so right about the second CD. It was alright...the 1st song was weird to even have it on a trance cd. Not really impressed. But the ones you name below are the ones that I actually also liked. I guess I have to heard the CDs a few times to enjoy it. And yes as you mentioned, the first Politics of Dancing was much better than the second one.

BTW, Thomas Datt- Alone, that guy is a good friend of my roommate. What a small world.

Any other new stuff you recommend? Thanks :)

Shirin,

I picked up Politics 2 a while back and have only listened to it a handful of times. The reason, it just isn't as spectacular as my high expectations lead me to believe it would be. The collection is significantly more melodic than Politics 1 yet not nearly as smoothly satisfying as Guy Ornadel's track selections.

As you weren't impressed by the 1st Disc of PvD'sPoD2, it doesn't seem likely you'll be groovin to the 2nd (although it does get a little tech-trancy which you may or may not enjoy)

These please my ear (more than the others) from the 1st Disc of PoD2...

4. Jose Zamora & Damian - Transatlantic
7. Thomas Datt - Alone
8. Lolo - Why
9. Purple Haze - Adrenaline
14. White Room ft. Amy Cooper - Someday
15. Kyau Vs. Albert - Falling Anywhere

And for one reason or another I appreciate these particular tracks from the 2nd Disc of PoD2...

2. Jose Amnesia vs. Serp - Second Day
5. Yellow Blackbird - Superfly
10. CJ Stone - Shine
12. Perasma - Swing 2 Harmony
15. Holden & Thompson - Nothing

After you give it a listen, lemme know your thoughts.

Mazhar.
