Q Bank

i know everyone keeps telling me not to worry about my percentages on qbank - its a tool for learning etc etc etc.... but does going thru the questions in qbank and reading the explinations and going back to first aid really work? im taking step 1 in two weeks and im getting a bit worried - feel like im not retaining anything :-(

i know u got lil time left but i hope u know about nbme.org. they have a couple practice tests for $45 each, totally worth it cuz ppl whove taken the exam say that the exams on that website was the closest to the real thing. plus it gives u a correlating usmle score. if u take it now and see if u wont get the score u want, then postpone the exam. hope its not too late, good luck!

Q-bank is good to give u a sense of questions and time management-- but they dont always represent the exam--2 weeks-- best bet is first aid-- very helpful-- also make sure u r familiar with the table in qbank with dif normal body ion concentration such as ca ions and Na concentrain and so forth-- knowing wht to look for fast in the *Lab Value tabel* help save time-- also be familiar with the new FRED sofware they r using-- as this may show up in ur exam-- Get good sleep and excercise to help retain information and relieve stress-- all the best 2 u inshallah- my prayers are with you-
