Question about our Rub Allah swt

now listen to this question carefully and dont answer by saying everywhere cuz if you do then my next question will be is He in the bathroom..... all i ask is u read the question carefully and answer it with proof from the Quran and Sunnah
Question is

Where is Allah swt? and the key word in the question is Where meaning a specific location.... many muslims dont know the answer to this but this is a basic element of tawheed..... and if a muslim does not understand tawheed then he cant understand islam properly.....
Also the second part to this question is can you name the 3 categories of tawheed and their meanings?

and the classical name for the taweed involving worship is not tawheed al-ibadiyya although in meaning it is still correct. It's called tawheed al-uluhiya.

Allah is in our hearts by His Knowledge i.e. it is the knowledge of His Existence, the Consciousness that He is Ever Watching, the Fear of His Wrath that is in the hearts of the true believers... Allah is not PHYSICALLY in our hearts. Just as we say that the mosque is the House of Allah... that does not mean that Allah actually lives in the mosque... No, it is His Knowledge that is there.

Hope that helps inshaAllah.

Allah is in our hearts... he is closer to us than our j. vein... now about tawhid, I dont remember the names in Arabic but the categories are: Tawhid in terms of names and attributes, Lordship, and worship... I think it would be something like Asmaa wa sifaat,Ruboobiyah, ibadah ;)

okay, so he's with us in a sense that He knows everything we do and think, but He is above the heavens and the earth??? as in a physical location??? when ever I read that ayah, I never took it literally that He "rose" over the heavens and earth to a particular place outside of it.

Peace

Tawheed is the belief that Allah is One, without partner in His Dominion and His Actions (Tawheed ar-Ruboobeeyah), One without similitude in His Essence and Attributes (Tawheed al-Asmaa was-Sifaat ), and One without rival in His Divinity and in Worship (Tawheed al-'Ebaadah).

Allah is above the seven heavens, although His KNOWLEDGE is everywhere. The Qur'an says in no less than 9 places that Allah Rose Over the seven heavens and the earth after He Created them. The Arabic word used is Istawa, which means "rose over in a manner that suits His Majesty". These verses are: 2:29, 7:54, 10:3, 13:2, 20:5, 25:59, 32:4, 41:11 and 57:4

Hope that helps inshaAllah :)
