If a muslim is not allowed to go to hajj unless his/her debts are cleared, this shows the importance of clearing debts asap, also marriage is suppose to be preformed as a completion of your deen, so then why should a person be able to get married and have debts,,, isn't this also what Allah would dislike?????
i agree though.. i save my money so i can have the better things in my life without getting into debt even if it means waiting for things so find it difficult having to take on someone else's debts
I for one have ensured I didnt have any serious debts prior to marrying. I feel that it is not fair on the other person.
However, alot of guys have serious debts and many of them are offended that us girls ask such personal questions relating to their financial situation. I think its a valid question and men should not be offended by it.
My cousin is married to a guy with bad debts and black mark on his credit history and she is the one suffering as a result. He never told her about his situation and she found our afterwards. Please note "found out" and "not informed"!!!
Why dont people be honest and also sort out their finances before getting married cos its not fair on the other person.
CAN I SEE YOU BANK STATEMENTS, AS BANKS GIVE GOLD CARDS TO STUDENTS NOWADAYS???
