Quick question.

Salams all.

Just wondering, why did one of the wives of the Holy Prophet saw wage warfare against one of the Khulafa Rashidun?

it was directed at you because you seem to quote hadith thinking they are the definitive answer, yet you fail to realise that your point is useless because you are not using reliable sources for hadith. i mean apply common sense shows that the argument is illogical, and there are so many contradictory hadith from the same sources that they are not useful in proving a point. common sense tells you the issue can't be trivialised and both someone has to be at fault.

why do you attribute self righteous religious imposition to Shias? clearly we are not nearly as good at it as the other parties... You dont seem to believe that Shias have a right to their own beliefs or any self expression, that sounds pretty anti american to me...I'm not even talking about "state affairs" so please leave that out.

why are you bringing jews and constitutions and serbia into this?????? We're talking about wahabbi vs shia.

well thats the beauty of fabricated hadith, they contradict each other and cofuse everyone.

it really doesn't matter what the numbers are - persecution, in any regard, is wrong --- so there is no need to distinguish who is the most persecuted compared to the least

once a group/person is persecuted, it has already crossed the threshold of suffering

where did i say the word fabrication? I said they draw attention to their cause, whereas we don't as much.

I dont think its fair to say jews were THE MOST persecuted. they were certainly persecuted, but they have always drawn a lot of attention to their cause, always keeping it in the forefront of ppl's minds, through literature and media. This may lead to a perception of MORE persecution, but you cant really say who was persecuted more or less. I dont think this has anything to do with America or separation of church and state, this has to do with people slandering my faith, and as a Shia, I will always defend. sorry.

AS - you know I love you, bro

Mehnaz brought up great points, and set up an intellectual dialogue; it was met with a deeply insulting statement

Mehnaz is your friend and she's cool, so if you have a critique of her response, then its best to share it with her in private --- feedback, in any kind of public venue, will be seen as criticism by most, and I don't think you want to be seen as someone who is publicly criticizing people who are your well-wishers

In this public forum though --- should you feel the need to criticize someone, then I think it would be a good idea to re-examine where your criticism is going, because Mehnaz is not guilty of desecrating the atmosphere around here

thats not logical, thats like saying we can't condemn any tyrants or oppressors for what they do or did. so you are saying we can't condemn bush and his cronies for their war on islam? we can't condemn ariel sharon? i don't buy that one bit, its a cop out because you have no other explanation for what happened.

the fact is one was wrong, however you try and dance around the subject. thats the problem, you trivialise all these issues and try and make them minor, but they are not, they go to the very heart of the credibility of pivotal characters.

NO!......... Hadise Kisa is narated to us by Jabir Bin Abdullah al-Ansari (ra) ... But for argument sake lets accept it was narrated to us by Bibi Aysha... then YOU guys should accept it more than we do... and then CONFIRM to the status of the Ahlul Bayt.

There is NO mention of the Khulafa Rashidun in Hadise Kisa other than Imam Ali... and with the merits such as " did not create the universe EXCEPT in love of the people of the cloak (Ahlul Kisa)"... tht should solidify the position of the Ahlul Bayt over Everyone...

Yup they cant both be right. When one person radhiallah-anhum kills another person radhiallah-anhum you gotta raise and eyebrow.

any two parties can be wrong, but only ONE can be right...

rite guyz..?

lol this is hilarious, now they he saying that a war ensued killing many, yet both parties were friends?! they have to say that to justify some of their fabricated hadith though.

the cracks get bigger and bigger
