Raghav in NYC ON JULY 3RD
To All My Friends & Family,
I am really happy to announce that my team and I are about to make history once again. We have debuted artists including Nina Skyy, Lumidee, Kevin Lyttle, Mr. Vegas, RDB and most recently UK Sensation Jay Sean. This time we are bringing the U.K.'s International R& B Sensation RAGHAV to NYC for an exclusive performance at the LEGENDARY SUPPER CLUB on Sunday, July 3rd, 2005.
Along with Raghav's performance we are in the process of arranging an amazing fashion show, a performance by an unbelievable up & coming NYC based South Asian Hip Hop artist, and an outstanding dance performance by Got Soul NY (one of NY's best hip hop dance troupes).
The event will be a mini-concert / nightclub dance party. Music for the evening will be provided by London's Bobby & Nihal , Chicago's Lil Cee , and Myself along with the All Star DJ Crew.
This event is extra special to me because I was one of the first people to debut Raghav on my mixed CD's back in 2003. Talent, hardwork, and the grace of God have turned this mixtape artist into an International Superstar.
Myself and some of the major U.S. DJ's got the opportunity to speak to Raghav on the phone last night. He acknowledges the fact that it is the DJ's who initially recognized his talent and it is the DJ's who have played a major role in his success. We were pushing his music before radio, before TV, and before the Indian retail outlets even knew his name.
He is making a huge attempt to keep strong relations with the top DJ's in the U.S. and all over the world. Another thing he told us is that without the people who supported him via internet downloads he would not be where he is today.
Raghav is a class act, an amazing performer, and by far one of the most talented South Asian singers in the world. The beauty about his music is that anyone can relate to it. His songs can be appreciated by people from all walks of life and from all different cultures. I am honored that this South Asian artist is coming all the way to the U.S. for one weekend to perform. Raghav is already a success within non South Asian crowds in England. It is our job as a COMMUNITY to support this artist , and eventually push him into the mainstream within the U.S. and Canada.
The event at Supper Club on July 3rd is the first attempt in a series of efforts to push RAGHAV into the mainstream. We have arranged mega media coverage, major internet support, and have organized a street team specifically to promote this event.
Definitely get your tickets in advance, come out, enjoy the show and prepare to have an amazing time at Supper Club on July 3rd. It is a long weekend and everyone has off on Monday.
I urge each and everyone of my friends and family to support this event and send this email to everyone you know. Even if you are not coming to the event please take the time to send this out to everyone you know.
General Admission tickets are $25 / VIP Tickets are $50
We have laid out a ton of money to bring Raghav here, so there are no COMPLIMENTARY tickets. I am sending this email to let everyone know to get tickets before they sell out.
We are limiting sales to 1500 tickets and closing ticket sales at that point. Tickets will be much higher at the door and there is no guarantee that you will get in if you show up at the door. It took a lot of time and energy to put this event together and I want each and everyone of you to support it.
If anyone needs tickets you can call me or anyone from my crew.
