Ramadan Mubarak!

As salaam alaikum! Ramadan Mubarak!
Insha'allah May this Holy Month of Ramadan bring many blessings, prosperity and happiness into all of your lives Insha'allah Ameen!

What are some of your fondest memories of and what is your favorite thing about Ramadan?

My MOST FAVORITE thing about Ramadan is the BIG JUICY KAJOOR that I sink my teeth into as soon as I thord my roza. There's nothing like a big juicy kajoor and a cold glass of milk.

Then the Mash ke dahi barre, Chat Samosay, Maande.

But throughout the day i love listening to Qur'an and Naats. The day is just so much more beautiful during Ramadan masha'allah.

Ramadan mein din ka Manzar hi kuch alag hota hai.. Hai na? :)

Ok since i just got back from the masjid and I have only slept 2 hrs, i feel completely wasted. So no real energy to write all the randomness that i heard yesterday. But there is one thing that sticks out

"ramadan is coming oh wait its HERE, dont you think its almost like santa clause, it knows if youve been bad or good " ~ some random girl

By the way, I was talking about memorable moments from Previous Ramadans.. C'mon I know ppl love to share funny stories, especially about Ramadan. You know what's really funny? When people do stupid things or say stupid things during Ramadan and they say "Roza Lagra" ... Yea sure blame it on the roza, you know you're the one that's the moron lol.

As far as stories go.. I'll start with this.. The most difficult thing in Ramadan, is trying to keep the children that fasted at sunday school, to keep their Roza and not say "My mom says if I fast the whole day I did TWO rozas" and then break their "second" one. AND THE PARENTS THAT MAKE THEIR KINDERGARTENERS FAST JUST SO THEY CAN TELL THEIR FRIENDS "MY CHILD FASTED DURING RAMADAN". It's like dude.. the kid doesn't even properly chew food yet, let him learn how to eat, THEN make him fast lol.

I'm talking about the whole bottle of realemon lemon juice or lots of Imli. I know what i'm making for dinner now lol.

Ramadan Kareem everyone, May Allah bless you and your family with a Ramadan filled with His barakah and love. May He forgive you for your sins and save you from future transgression. May Allah make your heart content and fill your soul with the sweetness of Iman. May He increase you in your knowledge and aid you in your intellect. May Allah make you amongst those who have pure intentions. May Allah be your source of true comfort and delight. May He forever be in your mind, in your heart and on your tongue. Ameen.

My favorite thing about Ramadan, would have to be iftaar and tarweeh. A different iftar almost every night. Kajoors, rhoofza, sherbat, somosas, chicken rolls, mango lassi , fruit chat, i could go on and on.

I love tarweeh at the masjid. Its so nice to see so many people their everynight for one reason, worshiping ALLAH (swt).

Ohh I also love going out for sahoor with friends after tahjood on the weekends. Everything about Ramadan is great. its a month i wish would go on and on.

Ramadan Kareem.
