I want to learn how to read urdu, the problem is I can't find any place to take a course (for adults that is). So I thought I'd learn on my own so I bought some basic books. But I'm finding that it would really help if I had materials that had the urdu with English transliteration and meaning. Does anyone know where I can get those types of books?

i am in chicago for a few days. anything related to pakistan can be found here, may it be food, clothes, or books. if u want and can trust me later on to give me your mailing address, i can purchase a few from here and send them to you???? (i do not guarantee that i can find u exactly what u need, but i can definitely look for it)........let me know!
and i know there are some online courses offered for arabic, since i wanted to learn it a while ago, so am thinking, there must be some for Urdu as well.......look into that....i will search for them as well and will let u know if i find any online courses.
