Relationships and Games...
Just finished reading about this study on little boys and girls that was done a few years ago that I found interesting. In a nutshell?
A group studied various kids playing amongst themselves in different playgrounds.
They noted that when a conflict arose during the game, the little girls stopped playing altogether and moved on to something else. For them, the little girls, relationship was more important than the game itself.
On the other hand, when a conflict arose with the little boys during the game, they chose to talk it over, and resolve it. And then continue on with the game. For them, the little boys, the game was more important than any relationship?
Your thoughts?
