Resistance is futile

I think one of my favorite story lines that star trek covered was the Borg. It penetrated all the series starting from TNG to Enterprise (the one that just got cancelled). Of course my favorite episode (or series of episodes) was the one where Cpt. Picard almost gets converted into a Borg, but the last two episodes of Voyager where the borg hive is destroyed are a close second. What about some others?
:)

I agree. Brent Spiner was an absolutely brilliant actor, bringing to life different roles with finesse. Even though data is an artificial intelligence life-form, Spiner worked to make his roles three-dimensional.

I think that after Capt. Picard, Data (Brent Spiner) was my favorite actor. I think that he really brought the whole story line for TNG togather. Data had Noonian Soong as his father (which was also portrayed by him) and his evil twin brother (I feel like I am talking about a soap opera) Lore was also being portrayed by him. I mean even in the latest movie, after they killed his character, they still had to bring back a part of him. Pretty cool

I remember parts of the Seven of Nine storyline, and I think she became part of the crew somewhat against her will - well against the "collective" will definitely. There was a flashback episode, although the details are a bit fuzzy right now for me. I remember some of the storyline concerning Data's inventor. Perhaps in a salute to human narcissism, Data's inventor looked just like Data, except he seemed to be much more sarcastic and jaded :)

Yes, that was a cool episode. I also liked the Seven of Nine story line, I didn't exactly see the episodes where she becomes part of the voyager crew but it was a good development of character from a borg to a human. I guess Data's progression was also a cool story line througout the whole series

On Enterprise they actually had one episode where they showed the earlier form of Borg coming to Earth. It wasn't exactly named Borg but by the looks of it, it gave the idea that the Borg had come to Earth a lot earlier than the Star Trek movie showed (First Contact).

Some Borg others? :) Borg hive annihilation as the Voyager ending premise was definitely interesting.
I can't recall whether the Borg have featured at all in the prequel series, Enterprise.
Deep Space Nine seemed obsessed with the Cardasian-Bajoran conflict (well at least the episodes I saw, I lost track of what was going on there :)) I really can't remember honestly any other storylines directly involving the Borg. maybe others can :)
