today marks the 9th year since he was taken from us,
Remember the injustice,
Remember the man's words,
Remember what the brother stood for,
and as quoted from Quincy Jones
" If Martin Luther King died at 25 he would have been a local minister,
If Malcolm X died at 25 he would have been Malcolm Little, a two bit hustler,
And if I died at 25, i would have been a small time jazz player, a sliver of my life's accomplishments."
