Rock from Heaven in Kaaba

Okay, i'm not sure if this the right village for my JE. Could it be possible that the rock that fell from heaven and is located in Kaaba is actually a meteor or part of an asteroid? Has there been any tests or scientific research done on that rock? Just thinking and wondering. Hmmmm!

No, historians think that the laborers for the pyramids of Giza were farmers working during the off season.

Xanubia, I agree with you that the saudis will not allow anyone to take samples of the rock. Newcairo: your theory is as good as mine which is as good as any. they are all theories for now.

I seriously doubt it, since everything inside the Kabaa is tightly controlled, and nobody can just stroll right in. And I'm pretty sure the Saudi government wouldn't let anybody take a sample of it for testing. But that's just what I think.

I read chariots of fire. very interesting concepts. I think all religious miracles can be described in terms of technological feats. Now, was God responsible for them or a higher being? it all depends on one's faith and they they believe. I heard that the rock was shattered way back when by some invading armies and it had to be put back together and in enclosed in some metal.

Last time when I met aliens, they did not say anything about it.

Hmm interesting thought. Reminds me of Erik Von Daniken's books especially "Chariots of God". Not that he mentions anything about hajr-e-aswad but his theory is that earth has been visited by aliens from another world and for that he relates many religious miracles and events from his view point. Very controversial books though....

i never been to haj, but i did 'omrah' ( i was 5 years old and remember everthing) and i have touched that rock. it's black rock can't really describe it clearly because i have touch it very fast. but that rock is a history and old one, and yes i have heard that the rock came from heaven. Also i have heard things about above the kaba is the 'Arsh' (settle) of God. Also the way how people go around the kaba in circle, is the same of how the universal go around the planets, electronic around the cell and others.
