saadat has a new purpose in life

i believe i have found the bike to upgrade from a 748 too. not too many choices, the new ducs aren't that appealing to me, the mv agusta f4 is cool, but i don't feel it either. but this i can feel. i like the round pipes under the seat, kinda like my 748's, the new future looking pipes are cool, but i like round pipes more. something classic about it. and i love the tubular swingarm probably borrowed from ducati (they said they'd only use it for that wierd limited edition bike, they lied, hehehe), the engine is also borrowed from a ducati 996, which means i will love the sound and the torque. the only thing i need to mull about is the price. it is quite a beauty.

oh that will never be sold, hehehe i don't plan on selling the 748 to get the bimota. might turn the 748 into a track bike. love the moto guzzi's, they are making some amazing bikes these days. i drove down a road with a guy on a bimota db4 last month after the classic motorcyle day thingy in germantown, md. it was a real nice looking/sounding machine. but i haven't seen many around here either.

sounds like it you've got it real bad for italian bikes.

if i had disposable income to do exotic i'd go with a guzzi mgs-01: www.motoguzzi-us.com -- its a twin and its italian... right up your street.

embarrased a squidly poseur on an agusta f4 on the track yesterday. but i was congenial off the track so he let me play with it for a bit over lunch!

i dig my current ride... it handles a little bit of everything with such aplomb (touring, sport riding, commuting... hell, she's even seen off road duty!) i'm looking to run a two bike stable later in the season... need a dedicated track tool and my money's probably on a cbr600rr.

never, ever seen a bimota around these parts. they distribute locally or is it a private import?
