info about columbia? hmm... well, it's in manhattan, at 116th street and broadway. good halal eats are mostly further downtown. hotel-wise, there are a few reasonable places on the upper west side- see around 96th street and broadway area. transport wise- you can prob find street parking somewhere near columbia in the summer, the subway runs right to campus, with columbia being the 116th street stop on the 1/9 (now just the 1) line. sorry about being abrasive on the cornell bit, but cornell is kinda a rival school and i'm a bonified hater. feel free to hit w/ any another questions.
